About  The Balcombe Road Project


The Balcombe Road project provides an exciting and sort after exclusive apartment development with four retail shops and secure residential garages on the ground level.  Plus four exclusive first floor apartments, with individual roof top decks taking advantage of the extensive bay views.

SJM purchased this site containing a dilapidated retail premises that had been leased to a single tenant for 20 years. The site is triangular which caused a number of issues for our design team.

A permit for 4 retail premises, 4 x 2 bedroom  apartments, individual roof decks, all with bay views and associated car parking was achieved through Bayside Council.

Sales of the apartments was concluded quickly, utilising an investment advisory group that arranged the sale of all the apartments without the need for a display suite or large scale marketing campaign.

SJM then sourced construction finance and documentation and on site construction commenced soon after the sales were completed.
All apartments settled soon after construction was concluded.
